2013 Mixed Doubles finalists

The end of season Senior Club Tournaments were held on the final 3 Wednesdays in April, the events being mens and ladies singles, mens and ladies doubles and mixed doubles. The pairings for all doubles tournaments were drawn at random and then handicapped accordingly which produced some very close group matches. Overall the Mens singles was won by Stephen Hall (beating Ryan Newcombe) and the ladies was won by Issy Lucas after a close fought battle with Mandy Davies.

The Mens and Ladies doubles had a high number of entries this year. The finalists were Krishna Basavaraju / Ryan Newcombe against Stephen Lambert and Barry Aldous, with Ryan and Krishna coming out on top.

Jade Hagger and Paul Austin fought a close final to beat Izzy Lucas and Stephen Hall to take the Mixed Doubles title.

The standard of badminton on all three nights was excellent with everyone raising their game to fight through some tough rounds.
